Widevine Third Party License Service Providers
The Widevine Cloud License Service is a no-fee service provided to any Widevine licensee. As a free offerring, Google does not provide any SLA (service level agreement) for the Widevine License service. In addition, Google does not provide 24/7 emergency support for the Widevine License service.
If the current Widevine cloud service levels are not appropriate for your needs, you can choose to use a third party license service from a Widevine certified partner. These multi-DRM services offer SLA commitments above what Widevine can provide, for a fee.
